Cindy Wheeler joined the St. Mary School faculty team in 1999 as a teacher’s aide in 1st grade. Inspired by the teacher, she returend to college to get her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential to complement her Bachelor of Arts degree in liberal studies. After teaching 1st grade for five years and 3rd grade language arts for a year at St. Mary School, she now teaches the kindergarten year two program for 5-year-olds. Mrs. Wheeler’s goal is to instill a love of school and learning in her students, and she designs her classroom to be warm and welcoming so that her students have fun while learning. “I hope my students feel loved and appreciated for who they are, and in my class, I work with the children to bring forth the gifts they possess.” All three of her children received a foundation in Catholic school education and graduated from St. Mary School.
