Jenn Gibson is the Physical Education teacher at St. Mary and joined our staff in 2022. Mrs. Gibson earned her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Athletic Training from Illinois State University and worked as a Certified Athletic Trainer post-graduation.  After working in the field of injuries and rehabilitation, Mrs. Gibson realized she was seeing many young, injured athletes and chose to go back to get her Master’s degree in Education, so she could help students enjoy sports and lifelong activities while staying safe. Mrs. Gibson moved to the bay area in 2005, where she has been teaching Physical Education ever since.  Prior to joining St. Mary, Mrs. Gibson taught Physical Education and Health Education, coached swimming, cheerleading, and tennis, and served as a mentor teacher for student teachers in the Campbell Union School District, and Oak Grove School District. Mrs. Gibson is grateful to be a part of the St. Mary staff and loves the sense of community on campus.  She is excited to work with our students as they grow from kindergarten to 8^th grade, bringing fun and fitness to their school day.
