Saint Mary Gilroy Second Graders Celebrate the Sacrament of Baptism
Saint Mary’s second grade class and their recently Baptized buddies.
On September 23, the Saint Mary School (Gilroy) second graders, led by their teacher Lindsey Olmstead, attended a “Teddy Bear Baptism.” Each student brought in a stuffed animal and had it baptized by Pastor Father Michael Hendrickson. The second graders have begun focusing on each step of the sacraments in preparation for their First Eucharist later this school year.
