Abrem Estorga

Abrem Estorga is the athletic director for St. Mary School and joined the teaching staff in 2017. Mr. Estorga has more than a decade of experience as a multi-sport coach and has coached at all levels from recreational to collegiate-level teams. He is passionate about developing student-athletes’ athletic skills, academic performance and spiritual growth. In addition, he also works for Gilroy Unified School District as an elementary physical education teacher and most recently was the head coach for the varsity boys basketball program at Gilroy High School.

“I believe in working with students to develop their God-given abilities, focusing on academic, athletic and spiritual development while competing to the best of their abilities. As a fourth-generation Gilroy native, I have a great love for the community and a desire to continue the tremendous impact St. Mary School and Church have made on students and families, and in the community.”

Mr. Estorga has a Bachelor of Arts degree in liberal studies from Sonoma State University and an Associate of Arts degree in liberal studies from Gavilan College. When he is not teaching, Mr. Estorga enjoys family time with his wife and two children.
