Chantal Adams joined the St. Mary School teaching team in 2016 and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with a supplemental authorization in art. Her 12 years of experience in public schools, intensive yearlong training and certification in Reading Recovery, and experience with both Common Core State Standards and Next Generation Science Standards are excellent additions to St. Mary School’s 3rd grade classroom. Ms. Adams was selected to participate in the Master Teacher program with San Jose State University and Gilroy Unified School District, and she has served as a mentor teacher throughout her career. She has a wealth of experience teaching kindergarten and first grade and brings her expertise in reading instruction to the 3rd grade program. Ms. Adams believes that learning should be joyful, and if a teacher teaches with different learning modalities in mind, she can reach all of her students.
